We are happy to see how Gecko is bringing it’s interdisciplinary vision to life. Two great collaborations led to the first journal publications as part of the MSCS GECKO Innovation and Training Network.
ESR2 (Apostolos Vavouris) worked with Lina Stankovic, Vladimir Stankovic and Benjamin Garside from the University of Strathclyde, to publish their paper on the topic of Low-Frequency Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring of Electric Vehicles in Houses with Solar Generation: Generalisability and Transferability.
Here is the link to the full paper.
Another cooperation of ESR15 (Christoforos Menos-Aikateriniadis) with Ilias Lamprinos and Pavlos S. Georgilakis from ICOM and NTUA led to a second paper on the topic of Particle Swarm Optimization in Residential Demand-Side Management: A Review on Scheduling and Control Algorithms for Demand Response Provision.
